WORLD HISTORY? Hmmm… Merdeka is coming soon… Let’s look at some of MALAYSIA’S HISTORY…

Maybe many of us are not aware that, long before UMNO (established in 1988) exist, many non-UMNO, non-MCA, non-MIC, non-Gerakan, non-BN members fought against the British for independence and SOME (OR MANY) DIED IN THIS NOBLE COURSE. Even the members of the Parti Komunis Malaya (PKM) use PKM as a platform to fight against the British. Let us all remember their fight for our independence.

Among them were…

1. Pak Sako (a political journalist).

2. Aziz Ishak (KMM).

3. Ibrahim Yaacob (KMM).

4. Abdullah CD (PKM).

5. Ahmad Boestaman (KMM).

6. Dr. Burhanuddin Helmy (PAS).

7. Ustaz Abu Bakar Al- Baqir.

8. Rashid Maidin (PKM).

9. Shamsiah Fakeh (PKM).

10. Chin Peng (PKM).

11. Mat Indera (PKMM and API) – Hanged by the British for the Bukit Kepong incident.

12. Tok Janggut.

13. Dato Maharajalela.

14. Abdul Rahman Limbong.

15. Dol Said.

16. And many more…

Among the organizations which fought against the British for our independence are :-

1. Parti Komunis Malaya (1930).

2. Kesatuan Melayu Muda (1938).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kesatuan_Melayu_Muda

3. Angkatan Pemuda Insaf (1946).

4. Angkatan Wanita Sedar (1946).

5. Hizbul Muslimin (1948) – which became PAS.

6. Parti Islam Semalaysia (PAS).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parti_Islam_Se-Malaysia

6. Parti Kebangsaan Melayu Malaya (1945).

http://ms.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parti_Kebangsaan_Melayu_Malaya

Almost all of the above organizations were made illegal and were banned by the British.

“Malaysia need not and did not go to war to achieve the peaceful aims of those you lauded over. Maybe this was done so peacefully and happily, you never noticed !” – MORE THAN 11,000 PEOPLE DIED FOR MALAYA IN THE FIGHT FOR FREEDOM.

UMNO became the ‘hero’ of our independence because UMNO agreed to share the power with the Chinese and Indians.

By right, UMNO, MCA and MIC have no right to negotiate with the British for our independence. Only the Malays Rules have the right to do so. The Malay Rulers are the legitimate owners of Persekutuan Tanah Melayu, not UMNO, MCA and MIC. UMNO, MCA and MIC did not sign the Federation Of Malaya Independence Act with the British but The Malay Rulers did.

Even if we believe that UMNO is the hero for our independence, yes that’s true for the previous UMNO (ceased to exisst in 1987) but the current UMNO was established only in 1988 (with Tun Mahathir being the 1st member). Our independence is in 1957.

As mentioned in my previous comments, THERE ARE TOO MANY COUNTRIES (DEVELOPED AND ALSO DEVELOPING COUNTRIES) IN THIS WORLD WHICH HAD CHANGED THEIR GOVERNMENT. Just name them… Thailand, Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, USA, UK, France, Australia, New Zealand and many more.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THESE COUNTRIES AFTER THEY CHANGE THEIR GOVERNMENT?

Pakatan Rakyat is definitely not going to be the best ever government. Pakatan Rakyat is definitely not going to be a perfect government. PAKATAN RAKYAT WILL DEFINITELY NOT BE ABLE TO FULFILL ALL THEIR PROMISES. It is not the end of the world for Malaysia if we change our government. But it is definitely the end for all corrupt BN’s politicians. THAT’S WHY THEY ARE TOO AFRAID IF WE CHANGE OUR GOVERNMENT.

I don’t care whether Anwar Ibrahim practice so**my. I don’t care whether Nik Aziz wants to cut-off people’s hand. I don’t care whether Lim Guan Eng going to give 999 years lease of land to the Chinese.

I don’t care about PR’s promises. My conscience is crystal clear that PR will never be able to fulfill all their promises. What I care is…

1. I CAN’T AFFORD TO BUY A HOUSE.

2. I HAVE TO PAY DEBT FOR NINE YEARS ONLY TO DRIVE A LOW QUALITY CAR AND I AM SPENDING 1/3 OF MY INCOME TO PAY FOR THIS.

3. I CAN’T AFFORD TO PROVIDE TERTIARY EDUCATIONS FOR MY KIDS.

4. I CAN’T RELY ON THE PUBLIC TRANSPORT BECAUSE THEY ARE SO INEFFICIENT, INCONVENIENCE AND EXPENSIVE. NOTHING HAVE CHANGE!

These four major things really give direct impact on my life, on my family’s life, on kids life, on the future of my kids.

UNTIL NOW, BN FAILED TO ADDRESS THE ABOVE BURDENS.

Maybe UMNO should change their English name to a Malay name like PKMB?

LET’S GO FOR A CHANGE.
